Dad was a hard working man. He always woke up and went to work before anyone else were out of bed. When he’s home, he always worked on projects around the house.

I have learned many things from my dad throughout my life. Some were directly said and taught from him. Some were picked up along the way. I grew up thinking dad was a remarkable knowledgable man. He knew everything and had answers to all my queries.

When I was young I loved listening to his stories, especially his childhood stories. It was hard to imagine that he was once a kid. His childhood stories had made me learned that how lucky I was living in a generation that has almost everything easily accessible.

In my late teenage years when I got my first car, dad taught me how to check oil and how to troubleshoot when the car decided to have a mind of its own. He tried to teach me how to change a tire but it’s one of the many things I haven’t been able to master.

He has taught me never to give up. There are always solutions to any problems. If there are no direct solutions, there are always alternative solutions. And most important of all, understand your problem. This has helped me with many of projects that I work on.
