i have created pages for businesses and organizations in the past without problems. today when i went to create a page for a business, i was hit on the wall because there’s a new field Electronic Signature.

apparently this is to prevent creation of fake or unofficial pages.

so, what do you put in Electronic Signature?

you’d expect there’s a page where you enter some information to generate some random long string for you to use. nope. nothing.

i couldn’t find anything from facebook’s help pages nor via google. it’s probably something new. too new to have any info floating around the internet.

so i entered my name (as appeared on my facebook account setting). just to give it a try. a new page is created!

if this is the real solution, fake or unofficial pages can still be created. what’s the purpose of this field?
